| Hello, A few weeks ago someone outlined the fact that it is actually impossible to request a direct to final at pilot's discretion. I am also getting the same issue : Each time I do such a request, I'm getting this message: Only available in landing mode and IFR. Of course, when doing such a request I am in IFR, as for landing mode, this does not make much sense, whatever if I ask this to the approach, or to the tower, I just keep getting the same message. It seems totally independent from the flown flight plan as I tried this command during all my few previous flights and the issue happened every single time, it is just impossible to be cleared to final at pilot's discretion. I already posted a flight log when it did happen and Dave outlined the fact that nothing much specific was written in the log so that confirms it is not dependent on the flight plan. Could this issue be looked at? This is very annoying. |

| That feature isn't available till you reach your last waypoint and then PF3 is in Landing Mode. |
