Anyway, I don't know why, but I'm in the middle of a flight between LTBA and LIMC, and PF3 is not switching me to P3D as soon as ATC speaks to me. Curious...

| While in cruise I may be surfing the web or doing similar things. However, when flying in P3D, everytime ATC speaks, I'm automatically switched to P3D no matter what I'm doing. If I'm typing something and ATC speaks, I may end up opening doors, extending gear and deploying spoilers instead of writing what I intended to do. Is it there a way to prevent this from happening, while keeping close caption enabled? This does not happen in either FS9 or FSX, just P3D4. |

| I think this is due to you using the default P3D message window to display captions. If you used our RemoteText utility (if you have a second monitor or PC) this shouldn't happen. Equally you could use the FSUIPC ADVDisplay window for captions. |

| Thanks, David. I only have a single PC and a single monitor, so Remote Text is not an option. Is ADVDisplay available in P3D4? I understood it was not and thus I had to use the P3D Simconnect Window... |

| Negative: I'm using the Simconnect Window. I could not find the ADVDisplay. Anyway, I was able to find some correlation: if I close the Simconnect Window by myself (either by pressing the X button or using the hotkey), the annoying behavior stops. As soon as I open`it by myself, and leave it to close by itself, the autoswitch to P3D is resumed. |
