I've had no problems using the command "Taking the runway" when tuned to 122.80 before but lately when trying to depart from Little Derby Island in the Bahamas (MYXF), PFE CTD every time I press the 6 key. I have done all that bad installation stuff numerous times at initial installion. Do i have to re-install or is this known to happen when using that function at some airfields?

thx

Next time it happens please send me the debug_monitor.log file from your PFE\Logs folder and I'll take a look

Hi there ...

Same problem here on the smaller fields where you "talk to yourself" and therefor take the runway ... PFE just stops and quits without a message when hitting "6". First thought it might be an old database and so I updated it, but on some fields the error is reproducible.

I have another one ... don´t know if I should start a new topic:
When departing from a seaplane base it often tells me that PFE can´t be used because the airport has no runway. Buttons are greyed out then and i´can get them to work.
Happend a few times now around the great tongass fjords. My flight planner (Plan-G) shows runway data (e. g. 60 x 1300m water). Will collect log-files too if this helps you :|

Which log du you need then? I´ve got 8 - "debug_monitor" sounds best, doesn´t it?

So there´re some screenshots of the error message, the runway data read via plan-g and the log for this case.

PFE will not work if there are no runways

Thanks for your answer. :)

So the data showing up on the FSX map or planners like Plan-G doesn´t count as runway?

Then could I suggest a small fix to "interpret" this data as runway because for example in the new FTX NA Blue or the older Tongass Fjords there´re a lot of water runways to be explored and enjoyed.

Starting with planes on floats results in a departure and arrival destination on water, so even the workaround with using a nearby airport with concrete runways as target is hardly possible.

Any chance?

I'll put it on my list of things to look into but won't make any promises

Thanks again for answering so fast.

Would be great to enjoy ATC coverage on "wet" flights :)

Keep your feet dry and thanks for your great support
