| You can use hotkeys to request a lower altitude (see the User Guide pp. 84-85 for more info). Also, if you are descending via a STAR and need to meet crossing restrictions as published on the charts, enter those altitudes on the PF3 waypoint page (see the User Guide p. 76). |

| Thank you Dan77 for your advice. This is how I am doing it, so I'm pleased and will continue to do it this way. I simply wondered if I missed something in the User Guide that was a hotkey command for "Request Early Descent". Thanks again. |
