Hi, I have a new installation of Win10, P3D4, and PF3. I'm a long time user of PF3, familiar with the program, so I must have done something stupid this time. PF3 loads a flightplan, allows me to change altitudes, and accepts a press of the "Connect to FS" button, but no initial message appears in P3D. Pressing the zero hotkey produces nothing. I've attached a logs.zip which I hope will help. Regards, Jim H. |

Thanks Dave. That means PF3 is functioning as it should. Can you help me find a way to get the message window to appear in P3D4? I'm accustomed to seeing the initial message when I connect, and then one when I press 0, telling me I'm on the wrong frequency. Right now I'm getting no messages at all. Regards, Jim |

I've no idea why the link between PF3 and the message window is broken, but I have discovered I can get the Ground or Tower frequency from the GTN 750 if I am using that. From then on I have audio communication and the flight can proceed. I do have a separate issue - kernelbase.dll errors. For that reason I propose to deactivate and uninstall PF3 along with a few other things, than restore a backup of both my C:\ and my P3D drive. I'll update this situation when I get back. You can obtain frequency information by running the PF3 Display Utility (pf3_display.exe, located in the PF3_Displayer folder) after PF3 is connected. Hopefully your other issues will be fixed after the reinstallation. |
