Post subject:  PF3 with P3d

I've searched for an answer but can't seem to find one.

I'm using P3d v4. I've installed the latest version of FSUIPC and Wideclient. I have wideclient installed on my second computer.

When I run PF3 after starting P3D I get a window that says simconnect PF3 has the flightplan loaded.

I start wideclent on the second computer and it connects and at the top of P3D its says wideclient is connected.

When I run pf3 display and remote text both say they are connected.

However there are no frequencies available in pf3 display or on the kneeboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Doug

Have you run makerunways and updated the pf3 database for p3d? I believe you needed to run the forget alongside another utility, the name of which I can't remember and I'm not near my pc. There are full details on Pete Dowson's support forum regarding this though.

I added the makernways.

Now PF3 still doesn't give me freqs in the PF3 display or kneeboard. If I use P3D ATC and get the ground freq and enter it into the radio I connect with PF3 and PF3 radios each freq change.

The knee board doesn't work in p3d. Are you running pf3 display on the same pc as FS? If not it does need access to the main FS folder.

I am running it on a second PC. How do I give it access to the P3D folder?

Thanks

I think you will need to enable sharing for the P3D folder. See p. 119 of the User Guide (located in the PF3\Help folder) for information on how to get the Display Utility working when it is on a second PC.
