Post subject: new user woes

i just purchased pfe today and am having trouble getting going.i can get the flight plan to convert for pro flight 2000 but the compile button is greyed out . i have tried the settings changes and other suggestions that i found in this forum to no avail. please help me get what i payed for.

yes. the only refrance to my problem is for a user how had it working and then the button quits but is not grayed out. mine is a new install and the button is grey there are no other refrances to this problem.i tried the suggestion to no avail.

i think i got it. i hadnt restarted my pc that seemed to get things moving the wright way. thank you for the help and time.
