Hello,
I get the same error when I try to' convert fs fp to pf2000.' I am new to this program and would like to get it going, before I trash it. I have read all the manuals, that I can find. Does anyone use this program? Does it really work?

Thanks folks,
Jerry

What a silly question !

How about telling us which version you have installed, what operating system, where you've installed it, any error messages during the install, have you configured everything correctly, where have you set the source and target folders, etc, etc. Then you may get a sensible answer before you trash it!

Hi Dave,
Thanks for taking the time to answer.
My OS is Vista 64, Overclocked cpu Q6600, 2HD's in raid0, my system works very good using FSX only.

I guess there is no need to go to ProFlight2000 to compile.
I did buy the add-on voice pack. [this did improve the voice quality.]
All is working good, untill I reach my top of TOD, can't get a lower altitude, then get incorrect headings or the approach.
Out of about 25 flights only the first one, or, two went as planned.
I am a retired airline pilot, over 30,000 hours, I know how the ATC system works.
I am slow on the computer though, I have no idea what you are talking about when you refer to the old PF2000 program.
Yes, the videos did help some, I'll look at them again.
Right now there are 2 problems...
1---Getting the flight plan to compile.
2---Getting the descent, and approach to work correctly.
Hope this info can be understood, I do use Team Speak a lot to solve problems.
Cheers,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
1. What exactly is the problem
2. Surely #1 is working if you're actually flying a plan

Hi Dave,
Number one is not working properly. I must try to compile several times before it works, 5-6 times.
I just departed on the very same flight that I did yesterday. [no changes, did not need to compile] I did depart from a different runway. After take-off, PFE ATC gave me bad vectors, had me going to the South, when my flight plan goes North. I finally turned it off, and used my MCDU,

Cheers,
Jerry

Hi Dave,
Not sure which setting you are asking about. Mine are set to English, and US. PDT time zone.

Might be worth check the numeric settings and ensure your decimal separator is in fact a 'period' and not a comma which can, on some systems causes issue. I seem to remember the last time I checked oe of your logs the first waypoint was showing to be hundreds of miles away.

Please send me you latest debug_monitor.log and also the original flighplan (prior to conversion) and confirm which flight planner you're using.
