Post subject: | Big problem with PFE - Please help |
Hi ![]() I made a flightplan in France from LFLC to LFMD via the waypoints MEZIN, MTL, LUC, MUS (general heading about 135°) and flight level 130. And I have some problems using PFE. 1- The centers Control/Information are Maastrich, Munich and Zurich ![]() ![]() 2- At Waypoint "MEZIN", the control give me the instructions for fly heading 005 and say me that I'm about 108nm off the airway. Why ??? He's crazy the control !!!! At this moment I'm exactly on my flightplan following my GPS with PA ![]() 3- The control give me an altitude at FL90 instead FL130 Why I've these problems ? Wrong installation ? (I rebuilt pfe database first) I made my flightplan as describe by the tutorial : - Flight sim Commander - FSX to save this flightplan to FSX format - Proflight Emulator - FPlan Converter - Proflight 2000 - Change altitude assigments and compile the flightplan I run the 2.11.1 version of PFE Here are the pf2000 - lflc to lfmd.gps LFLC MEZIN MTL LUC MUS LFMD and the pf2000-lflc to lfmd.brf PF2000 - LFLC to LFMD Adventure Briefing All Nippon 2686 from LFLC to LFMD Departure Airport - LFLC, Clermont-Ferrand/Auvergne - ATIS: 136.4 Destination Airport - LFMD, Mandelieu - ATIS: 127.47 Alternate Airport - LFMD, Mandelieu - ATIS: 127.47 Cruise Altitude - 09000 Feet Cruise Speed - 41415 Knots Departure Time - 17:40 Estimated Time Enroute - 00:01 DEPARTURE AIRPORT INFORMATION CLR GROUND TOWER DEPART 121.700 121.950 118.625 118.600 APP UNI MULTI FSS 121.600 000.000 000.000 122.200 Runway ID HDG ILS Freq 08 083 000.00 26 263 111.10 DESTINATION AIRPORT INFORMATION CLR GROUND TOWER DEPART 121.700 121.800 118.300 118.600 APP UNI MULTI FSS 119.700 000.000 000.000 122.200 Runway ID HDG ILS Freq 05 045 000.00 17 173 000.00 23 225 000.00 35 353 110.35 ALTERNATE AIRPORT INFORMATION CLR GROUND TOWER DEPART 121.700 121.800 118.300 118.600 APP UNI MULTI FSS 119.700 000.000 000.000 122.200 Runway ID HDG ILS Freq 05 045 000.00 17 173 000.00 23 225 000.00 35 353 110.35 -------------------------- Center/Control Information -------------------------- 124.3 - Maastricht Control 124.5 - Control 118.35 - Munich Radar 128.05 - Zurich Control 133.7 - Padova Control -------------------------- -------------------------- Thank you for your help ![]() |

As a process of elimination please change your Windows Regional Settings to English, re-compile the ADV flight file, then try again. Please let me know how you get on because PFE 'should' handle ALL regional settings but I am aware that some users have experienced issues in this area so it might need revisiting. |

Thank you. After change the Windows Regional Settings to English , I've a Runtime Error during the compilation (Proflight 2000) On question : I purchased this addon on the Aerosoft Website. It's the version 2.10 But, after, the PFE automatic update install the 2.6 version. There is a problem here, no? What is the real version downloadable on their site ? 2.1.0 or 2.10 ? |

Don't see how you get from 2.10 to 2.6 but the latest supported version is 2.11.1. If you can't update to 2.11.1 using the 'Check for Update' button please check the 'PFE Manual Installation Instructions' sticky post near the top of this forum |

It's the problem. Aerosoft sell a version named 2.10 (on their readme) but the first time I launch PFE, the automatic update install the version number 2.6.0. I think the Aerosoft version is not the 2.10 but 2.1.0 or someting like this ... Maybe my problem is due to a wrong installation due to their readme (I installed the 2.11 only) |

Aerosoft's version should be 2.10 Anyway, provided you are running 2.11.1 you are okay. Now what error message are you getting from PF2000? |

I've a new problem PF2000 give 2 TOD and 2 TOC it made a flighplan : TOD, TOD, MEZIN, MTL, TOC, TOC, LUC, MUS instead MEZIN, MTL, LUC, MUS. At the end of the compilation it give an error : execution error type 13 incompatible I don't understand nothing. I re install the soft again like this Aerosoft version ---> Accumulative Update (to 2.10) ---> automatic update to 2.11 But a question, if Aerosoft sell the 2.10 version why your automatic update ( via PFE ) install the 2.6.0 version after the installation of the addon ??? I think the Aerosoft version is 2.1.0 in fact. It's not the same thing ![]() |

I've solved the problem with the flightplan. But always the problem with controls. Have you seen another problem with "pf2000-lflc to lfmd.brf" ? Cruise Altitude - 09000 Feet Cruise Speed - 41415 Knots Departure Time - 17:40 Estimated Time Enroute - 00:01 |

Here the flighplan in PFE [/IMG] Look at the LFLC altitude. MEZIN and LUC appear 2 times ... |

Post subject: | Re: Big problem with PFE - Please help |
This has to be a system related, possible regional settings, issue. I've just created a flight plan from LFLC to LFMD As you can see there's no problem with LFLC altitude. Also do not worry about the duplicated waypoints... that is not a problem... it's how PFE works |
