Try uninstalling PF3 and de-activate your licence first.
Reboot your system and delete any remaining files/folder...should be only PF3 in your ADDONS folder.
Perform a registry clean/checker if you have one.
Re-install turning off your AV and Firewall during this process.
It will be a process of elimination.

FP3 is working again !!

I ran the Cumulative Updater and it worked, very pleased. Thanks Dave

I still have the original problem but it looks like I will have to live with it.

Glad you have it working again ;) .
For now just do flights that can fit in with your schedule,like me i have a whole host of flights on an excel spreadsheet with flight time (approx) starting at 2.5hrs through to 7hrs along with airlines (mostly British Airways and Air Canada) and aircraft to suit.
I'll be honest and say I have never used that feature as you can't pause a flight in real life :lol:

That's why I prefer flying a simulator :lol:
