Post subject:  Contacting Tower for parking at smaller airports?
Greetings. I just completed an IFR flight using PF3 to Princess Juliana Airport (TNCM). After I landed, I was told to get off the runway and then contact the tower at the same frequency I used to land. I rogered and after that was not able to contact the tower specifically for taxiing to parking. I checked pf3_display and could not find the command to request taxi to parking. It was not a problem for me in larger airports with separate ground frequencies. So for my particular flight, I ended up using the default FSX ATC for fueling and parking.

I believe I had the same issue after landing in another famous and small airport yesterday, Cristiano Ronaldo Airport in Madeira (LPPM). I didn't pay attention to that yesterday because LPPM is so easy to find fueling and parking but TNCM was a bit more complex.

Did I overlook an action to be able to contact tower after landing at a small airport for parking, or is it simply a PF3 limitation at the moment? I don't mind using FSX's ATC for ground if necessary - as long as PF3 continues to work so well when I am in the air.

In this situation when there is a Tower frequency and no separate Ground frequency, Tower will handle the Ground functions when you are clear of the runway. Once clear of the runway and having come to a stop, wait a few moments and then use hotkey 5 to report clear of runway and request taxi (see Ground functions in the PF3 Display utility).
