I've had PF3 for some months now. When I request instrument approach [key2] I never get it. What has to be setup in pf3 to make this happen?

Is that key clashing with another addon in FS by any chance?

I always get the stand by will check. Unable at this time. So no conflict with another key.

Next time it happens please attach the debug monitor log from your PF3\Logs folder so we can take a look. Obviously there has to be a suitable runway available before a runway change is approved, but without the logs we have no way of knowing what happened nor the circumstances of data configuration at the time of your request

I'm glad its not only me!

I've just flown into LPPT Lisbon and been instructed to land on R35. Strangely, there is a runway there but I landed on it....manually.

Why? Because nowhere in Tim's Plan G or in the P3D sim' flight planner is it shown so it's not possible to find the nav frequency.

Strangely, my co-pilot announced we have the airport but we were certainly not locked on to it with the auto pilot.

Log attached for what good it might do.

I believe the OP's issue is requesting an instrument approach rather than being assigned one

Here you go. Thanks. Opps added wrong type of file.

H'm. I think I know what you mean Dave. Thanks. Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt reecemj's enquiry. I thought our problem was similar. As usual, I was wrong, so please accept my apologies all round.

No apology needed John. If you think you have an issue it's always best to add a new post, as you usually do.
