Installed the Demo version and set up flight with FS9 running. Loaded the flight plan to PF3 but when clicking the "connect to fs" button I get the following message. "IPC timed out all entries.". So I clicked "ok" and then get the following message, "problem connecting to flight sim or flight sim not running." Attempted to restart fs and reload flight and then reload PF3 and got the same result. FS9 is directly on C:\\ drive and not on a subdirectory. Anybody have any idea how to solve this problem. Do like the features of this software as I have read the user guide. HOpe to be able to use this.

Have you installed the latest version of FSUIPC?

I did check and was surprised to find that I had version 3.7.5 installed. I thought I had updated it last year. So I downloaded version 3.999...... has a "z" in it. Started up FS9, saw that the module was now to the newest version and registered, started up pf3 demo but still got the same result. So I closed everything, started up the sim, loaded the plane at the gate in Stansted for a flight from Stansted to Manchester, keeping it less than 200 nm. But still the same result. I did check last night and I do have Microsoft.net framework 4 updated installed. Well, ok, beats me what the problem is here.

Attach your PF3 log files in zip form and we can have a look.

Please email me direct, quoting this post viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2486 and we'll setup a remote support connection so I can take a look... basically PF3 cannot see FSUIPC
