I am running FS9 (FS2004) on Windows 7 Pro.

I am also running the following programs/software with FS9 and FP3:

FSC 9,
F1 View,
Active Sky Evolution and,
Rob Barendregt Groundhandling for aircraft.

Before I purchased the Full Version, I tried the Demo Version and it worked well with the software mentioned above and with no issues what so ever.

Now I have the Full Version, the following issues have arisen:

1. FS9 default Hotkeys utilizing the shift key no longer work, including default pushback (shift/p)
2. The Shift/number keys no longer work for F1 View (shift/1 - 9)
3. Groundhandling can no longer be opened if PF3 is running (does not use hotkeys to open/close)

It was suggested that there is a conflict with add ons and PF3 that has caused the problem; HOWEVER, as stated, all of the above worked without issue with the Demo Version and have only stopped working since installing the full version.

Please attach a zip containing PF3/Logs/debug_monitor.log after starting a flight.

Dave: Can you check if there are differences in the handling of hotkeys in the current demo vs. release?

Hotkey configuration in the log looks sane, so I assume it should work identically to the demo.

If you load only one or two of the add-ons (and PF3), do they work? If yes, this could indicate that FSUIPC is running out of hotkey slots.

It seems you started PF3, connected to FS9, it lost contact to FS9, then you started PF3 again.
At this point it can happen that some FSUIPC hotkey slots are not released, thus possibly causing problems in whatever add-on tries to allocate new ones.

Can you confirm the following?

- reboot your PC (should not be needed, just to make extra-sure that you have a defined setup)
- start FS9
- start a flight without PF3
- confirm that your other add-ons work fine
- start and connect PF3
- test if the other add-ons still work (and that PF3 works)

Please tell us if during any of these steps anything crashes.

I also have F1 view and have never had any problems with it. It does seem as Thomas has said a broken link with FSUIPC. I always start-up in the following sequence,

Weather engine FSrealWX
Sim
Check weather engine has sent correct data to the sim
PF3
Link PF3 to sim
Fly

The two are one... they are identical... I'm obviously not going to go into what makes one work as a demo

Did what you suggested and:

FS9 + Addons worked without an issue
FS9 + Addons + PF3 failed as described but NO crashes as I understand a "crash".

The problem with the addons only happen when PF3 is in use/started.

My "load sequence" is as follows:

Active Sky Evolution
FSC 9
PF3 (opened not running)
FS9
(Flight loaded and plane at the gate)
PF3 started

Groundhandling and F1 view keys/operation works fine until PF3 is started. PF3 does work.

You suggested FSUIPC maybe running out of Hotkey slots. Would uninstalling the current (updated freeware version) FSUIPC and installing a new (older) paid version of FSUIPC help do you think?

If my memory serves me right I don't think your groundhandling gauge uses hotkeys? In fact I don't even seem to remember it using FSUIPC?

Very strange indeed ...
I don't think that downgrading FSUIPC would help, and paid or not should not matter for these things either.

You could try (just for this test) to disable all PF3 hotkeys but the Zero hotkey in the settings (Options #1) and see if that makes any difference. But I'm really fishing in the dark here.
