| i was just wondering if there is a way to get PF3 ATC to just clear you to land.. what i mean by this is that if you get to a destination and you somehow screwed up by not using the way point which gets PF3 to clear you or vector you to final your are kinda out of luck ...i wish that we could just be able to ask for landing clearance by dialing the tower and getting clearance i know its not realistic but it would be nice to have the option... i |

If for some reason you are not handed off to Tower, you can tune Tower frequency manually and hit hotkey 1 to request landing clearance. This can happen if you are flying an approach that does not line up with the runway until you are very close to the airport. |

| Hi Dan tanks for the reply, i have tried that in the past maybe i am doing something wrong i will definitely give it a try that the next time i screw up an approach |

| I should also have mentioned that if for some reason you are in a position where PF3 has not yet cleared you for the ILS or for final approach, you can hit hotkey 1 (still tuned to Approach) to request cleared to final at pilot's discretion. After that you will not get further vectors, but it will be up to you to get lined up with the assigned runway. PF3 will tell you to contact Tower when established. If the Tower handoff does not happen when you are lined up you can then tune Tower manually and request landing clearance as above. |

| Two alternatives: - use the warp to waypoint feature to let PF3 warp you to the last waypoint - declare an emergency |
