Post subject:  Hotkey mapping?

Just a question from a newbie.
If one changes the hotkey mapping to avoid clashes with other programs, do you have to avoid or disable same keys in FSX ?

Also, are the default number hotkeys (e.g. 0, 1,) numlock keys or those above the letters on the keyboard. Or are these the same and therefore it doesn't matter which is used?

Cheers,
Stuart

If you are going to change PF3 hotkeys you should also take care to avoid conflicts with FSX.

The default keys are the ones above the letters on the keyboard; see the following thread:

Hi Stuart,
If you intend to remap your hotkeys it's a good idea to try and make a note of any addon programmes that use hotkeys and remap accordingly,i have deleted some hotkeys in FS2004 and FSX and used them in PF3 ie: L and H for increase height or lower as is the case.
If you don't map carefully then some operations in PF3 won't work,
