GSX from FS DreamTeam...?
It could be a soundcard issue if you are having problems with both programmes.
You may need to install drivers or check settings.
What soundcard do you have on your system?
Any other errors or logs you can attach so we can help you get to the issue quickly.
Also post this issue in the other companies forum if it's FS Dreamteam, which I think it is.

If reinstalling the driver corrected the problem and it has happened again, there may be a device or software conflict of some kind.

Suggest googling on the internet to see if anyone else has had same problem,as Dan said it sounds like hardware issue or conflict of some description especially as you have 2 programmes with same issue.
Remove GSX and try again...also run a registry cleaner/checker...if not use ccleaner it's free...it's going to be a process of elimination
