Post subject:  Mode Change not working

Suddenly the 'on the fly' mode change hotkey doesn't seem to be working. I am stuck in Mode 1 for the whole flight: until yesterday the key combination (I checked it in PF3 Options/Hotkeys - it's still the same as I've always used) worked just fine. I wonder if the logs show why it has stopped responding.

Thanks.

Martin

It works fine (I just used it in a flight about two hours ago) in the current beta 3.2.1, and I don't think there is anything different from 3.2.0 here.
The log does not contain anything about pressing HotKey #14.
Your PF3.ini shows this hotkey to be enabled and set to the key "f" (lowercase). Is this the key you expected?
Just a wild guess: Maybe caps lock was enabled and PF3 would have seen an uppercase "F" if this key had been configured?

Yes, I use 'f'' key for mode change, which key is mapped to a gaming keypad, so the caps lock wouldn't make any odds.

I'll experiment a bit more with this and post back. It's odd that it was working fine till the weekend.

... I just tried with the default Cessna and it works fine. It's a coincidence that the hotkey hasn't worked with the last two a/c I have flown, which I now see have hotkeys of their own; I guess there is a clash with the 'f' key, which I shall need to fix....
