| been using PF3 for a few month now, and i love the enhancement that it brings in my case to P3D... I do however have a request if an option can be added, or if it exists then some direction on how to use it... Sometimes when i schedule flights using PFPX and AS16 i am given a landing runway... so i go through the process and set up all the details, only to get to the destination and do to wind changes during the flight have to land on another runway. Sometimes PF3 is great and gives you all the right instructions to land in the right runway (taking into consideration the winds and so on) but sometimes it does not i guess it waits for you to reach a published waypoint to trigger it, but because i have changed the approach it does not give me clearance until it is far too late to land ....so my request is to make the feature (request landing at pilots discretion) a bit more robust. For example sometimes when i am tuned to approach and press 1 (to request landing at pilots discretion) it tells me option can only be used in landing mode....can this be configured so that we can get clearance to final and actually land ... | If I understand correctly you have STAR waypoints in your flight plan. You can either exclude the STAR waypoints from your flight plan in PFPX (I usually do that myself be deselecting the automatically selected STAR in PFPX) or mark the first waypoint of the STAR in PF3 waypoint/altitude adjustment after loading the flight plan. |
