| Can I request a different runway from approach? I only see that option from tower...which is too late as I am already lined up and close to the wrong runway. FSX and PF3 don't know if there is a huge mountain at the end of the runway, making it a one way strip, so I would like to make sure I don't get assigned the wrong one. Thanks. |

| Yes, Ctrl+Shift+W after you have received your initial runway assignment. |

USE the SIDS/STARS page in PF3 to permanently close the runway you dont want to use. You may still see AI aircraft use it, but PF3 won't assign it to you. |

| you know i figured PF3 had a way to program in the arrival runway of choice! |
