Post subject:  Volume Differentiation

Hi,

I'd like to create a greater difference between the volume of the first officer voice and the cabin ambience & cabin crew sounds.

I have the FO voice at 10 and the others at 1. I have a speaker in the overhead that the sounds come out from. The FO is fine at regulo 10, balanced with the overall sound card volume, but the cabin ambience is too loud. The FO needs to be quite loud due to other cabin sounds, I'd like to have the ambience very quietly in the background.

I tried adjusting the volumes in the fdc.ini file. As soon as I went lower than -3000 or higher than zero, I received an error message about parameters being wrong.

I realise this is not a fault with FDC and so I understand if you don't feel you can offer support.

Ideally of course, a solution would be great or a work around ;)

What would be great, for a future iteration of FDC, would be to be able to push the different sounds through different sound cards. This would be perfect for us home cockpit anoraks......

Thanks and regards

Dave

Hi,

I realise it's holiday season, just wondering if there's any thoughts about this please?

Thanks

Dave
