vololiberista,

Yes, it is a ridiculous time. I've been on to an FSX forum and it seems that I am not alone, others are experiencing similar times without finding a cure for it. (It has always been a problem - 90% not running, 10% running (about)).

I've done as you suggest and when FSX re-starts, it prompts me to allow/disallow my Ad-Ons. I've not allowed them to load so that I have no add-ons taking up hotkey slots. Still the problem remains??

Rgds,
Robin

so the usual voodoo remains:
- update FSUIPC
- make sure nothing is installed below C:\Program Files\
- disable UAC, run as Administrator, or take other steps to ensure that the programs can access each other's directories

ThomasAH,

Do you mean without FSX?

I have already tried it with FSX and NO add-ons and no other external programs (the PF3 program resides on the Client laptop and FSX on the Server PC, so I also have WideClient running).

That gave the same result of Not enough HK slots

Do you have any other programme of any nature that requires access to hotkeys? My point being that it sounds more like an issue with your windows/pc setup.

This my problem.

I can't see any program that's using hotkeys:

Server PC - FSX (alone, no programs, no add-ons running).

Client laptop - PF3 + WideClient (Nothing else running).

My next step will be to run PF3 on the PC and forget the laptop and see if that works. (It will defeat the object of running it on the laptop however)
