pf3_Display not working. no way to see Freq to use!

Post subject:  pf3_Display not working. no way to see Freq to use!
Hi I am trying the demo out of PF3 and clicking on the pf3_Display application does nothing, it creates pf3_display Config file and does nothing else. When I have FSX running (admin mode) and PF3 also in Admin mode, I launch the PF3 app with a valid flight plan and the window pops up like the Manual says but its blank. There are no Frequencies anywhere.

Im at a loss as I dont know what Freq to use.

When fsx starts you should get the ACARS screen which tells you the frequencies at the initial airport of your flightplan.
Go into FSX, go to the airport then start PF3 and open a fpl starting at that airport.

it comes up but its blank.

What airport are you starting from?
Also can you attach your log file to your post in zip form.
In the logs directory zip debug_monitor.log and old_debug_monitor.log

Starting from KORS with VFR flight plan, tried IFR and loads of others at diffrent airports, all the same blank pages

OK your log does show a frequency which I checked on my system with your fpl and is correct.

Also when I loaded the fpl into my sim the ACARS screen showed this

You should be using the multicom frequency of 128.25 which does show up in your log file. Also once I tuned to the frequency the display screen showed this

And I was able to transmit

There's a lot to absorb and learn with PF3. You'll get there :-)

well i dont see the ACARS screen all that pops up a blank Briefing Screen, with no Freq.

And the PF3_display never starts so I dont know what Freq to use.

Are you running PF3 Display on the same PC as PF3? You might like to try the second item down on our FAQ page

When the ACARS screen appears is it definitely the briefing screen? Have you tried scrolling through the kneeboard displays?

Additionally the frequencies shown by PF3_Display are in a human-readable file inside your FS9/FSX/P3D directory, e.g. D:\...\FSX\PF3_display\PF3_freqs.dat
