This problem is due either to a bad installation or some missing runtimes which should already be on your system.

Resolution.

1. Bad installation - When installing FDC please ensure you stop all other programs, especially your AV. Do NOT install into Proram Files and once installed you must configure your AV to leave the FDC folders out of any scanning. If you have already done this or having done so you still have the same problem please follow step #2

2. Missing runtimes - These are the DirectX for managed code runtimes and they are available to download/install from Microsoft at the following link HERE

thanks for the reply

1, uninstalled and re installed 4 times now with AV off, current location is C:\Aerosoft\FDC - No luck
2, reinstalled Directx as per the provided link - No luck

any ideas?

And you're still getting the Error 429?

Try installing the latest cumulative updates package from the top of this forum, then reapply the P3D version. See if that fixes the problem
