Post subject:  Re-contacting tower after leaving runway with no grnd freq
On a couple of occasions I've landed at an airfield that doesn't have a ground frequency. On the landing role it tells me to contact tower (on the same frequency) when leaving the active. When I do leave the active there doesn't seem to be a way to re-contact with the tower?

Just use hotkey 5 while still being in contact with Tower (no need to tune frequencies).
I have changed a line in my PF3_Displayer/pf3_disp.dat to remind me of this fact from

Tower,5,Request the Option (Touch 'n Go)
to
Code: Select all
Tower,5,Request the Option/Touch-and-Go (no Ground: Clear of the runway)
(with VCP mode 2 or 3 this happens automatically, but from your question I assume you use VCP mode 0)

You assume correctly. Thanks, that's a good tip, I'd never have found that!
