| hi mate....got the trial version going great on a pc using p3d v3.1 so I have a laptop as a client were I run all the add on progs such as radar contact,,,,,active sky,,,and fscommander all run great as well over the network,,,,so ive tried the demo from the client. All is good and all the phrases are shown on the main computer in p3d BUT theres no sound no voices talking only text. All sliders and x boxes are the same ive double checked on each install, just I get no talking just the words as text. sorry to compare but I use rc4 and that's across the network and I get txt and sound. Have you any pointers I could look at,,,,,ever heard of this prob before... Thanks in advance Andy Heafield |

| Hi Andy, Nope, never heard that before and I run PF3 on a network PC all the time Please send me the debug log from your PF3\Logs folder so I can check to ensure nothing looks amiss before we delve further |

| Hi Andy, Thanks for the logs. It looks to me as if you do not have the correct version of Microsoft's NET Framework installed. The minimum requirement is 4.0.30319 and you appear to have Version=1.0.2902.0 |

| right I`ll look when I get chance thanks,,,,,its a separate computer.....I did notice last night m/soft sent out a shed load of updates 20 +.....its win 7 I use,,,i think I saw updates for 4.1,,,,,99% certain,,,anyway I`ll have a look after. thanks Andy |

| right I was nearly right I have .net framework 4.6.1 on,,,it did update to that yesterday so I uninstalled it,,,,restart,,,then a reinstall of .net to 4.6.1 again,,,, sorry still no joy still getting txt only via the client. tried again with the demo on the main p3d comp and that's great and sounds good. sorry thanks anyway Andy |

Okay, please send me the debug log again from the failing PC... not the same log as you sent previously but the one you tried after installing the NET Framework... or simply recreate the problem then send the log |
