I know this is not a PFE issue per se, but most AI a/c, at most (all?) airports only seem to become aware of my plane after they have buried their noses into my fuselage. Too late to stop by then!

Any way I can increase the distance at which AI traffic will 'see' my aircraft and stop to let me pass - given that I am easily first at an intersection of course and not trying to 'barge' my way past! (As if...).

Go into FSUIPC and select Traffic Zapper...read one of the manuals(can't remember which one) and once that's set you can set a hotkey to eliminate AI traffic that gets in your way.

Hi.. Yes, I already use that, but it only really works when your aircraft is pointed directly at the 'offending' AI traffic. If they are coming at you, and then on through the fuselage, from the side, it won't work.

in this case the only thing you can do is advance time one minute

I long ago programmed a button on my N52 keypad which pauses the sim, speeds it up to 16x (when all traffic is removed), reverts the sim to normal speed and then unpauses it. The traffic at gates then comes back, but not, for a while, the incursion (by which time I am usually in the air or at the gate).
