Hello, I'm having a lot of trouble trying to get FDC (Version 3.8.3) to run on Windows XP. When I try to get it to connect to FS2004 I get the message "Incorrect Version of FSUIPC, or not FSUIPC". I'm running a registered version of FSUIPC (Version 3.93) so I know it's good. I've tried reinstalling both FDC and FSUIPC but it hasn't helped at all. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chax |

You are running a very old and unsupported version of FDC. Please update to version 3.11 and try again. If you still experience problems then by all means come back to us |

Hello, I managed to get everything working fine with Version 3.8.3 but I've since updated to Version 3.11 and now when I use the program I get this error: "339 - Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid". It happens when I click some of the options in the options menu. |

Sounds like the updates did not complete correctly... when installing/updating you really need to stop aany security products you may have running |

Hi again, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and that seemed to do it. It's now updated to 3.11 and running fine for the most part. There is one issue though. I've created a User Checklist for my 777 but when I try to run it I get "Error 13 - Type mismatch in 'CheckActualSetting' Routine". Any ideas on how to fix that? Cheers, Chax |
