| Hello to the dev team, when flying from or to LGAV, Athens Flytampa 1.5 there are no frequencies to talk to the ATC, except UNICOM and FSS. I have rebuild the database using latest MakeRunways ver 4.692 and following closely the procedure as always. After database rebuild I have checked in the folder \PFE\Data the file PFE_FSX_Freq.dat for the correct frequencies. They appeared in the list correctly. When compiling a flightplan say LGAV-EDDM the frequencies listed in the .brf and .freq file are all 0.0 except unicom and fss. "|00 LGAV |W0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |123.80|" I believe that this is a problem with PFE. I changed with ADE the frequencies of LGAV to different values, saved the afcad, rebuild the database and the information from fsx was passed flawlessly to pfe as above. There is something happening during compile that affects only this scenery or there is an error while converting the frequencies for the compiler. I run also radar contact for some flights and checked LGAV and all frequencies are ok, airport and rc working properly. Any ideas what I might do? Regards, rvm33 |

| Please send me the Debug log for that flight, which is in your pfe/logs folder |

| Thank you for the log files. Initially I thought it was going to be a simple data corruption problem because the log showing the data conversion shows:- Error processing frequencies for LGAV So I checked the file manually and everything looked fine. Then I copied into my PFE\Data folder, created a FP for LGAV to EDDM, converted it, compiled an ADV, loaded it, connected to FS and this was the result was.... it worked perfectly!!! Please try the same flight plan in reverse, EDDM to LGAV and then after connecting to FS and attempting to contact Clearance please check the Freq_Conversion.dat file and let me take a look. |

| Hello, I did a new flight from eddm to lgav. I have noticed that the frequencies for eddm and lgav were identical. "|00 EDDM |K121.78|121.73|118.70|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |118.83|128.25|131.23|" and "|10 LGAV |K121.78|121.73|118.70|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |118.83|128.25|123.80|". Apart from this the flight was ok. In the data folder a file was created, freq_conversion.dat which says "Error processing frequencies for EDDM". I tried a second flight then from eddm to omdb which was correct in every aspect. Freq_conversion.dat file was created and said "Error processing frequencies for EDDM". I have tried a third flight from loww to omdb. The flight had correct frequencies but file freq_conversion.dat said again "Error processing frequencies for LOWW". When passing first waypoint, SNU, ATC did not pass "climb to 22000 ft" resulting me to linger at 11000 ft, last given FL. It passed this information only after "say again..." command. The log showed some error there. Anyhow, unrelated to the frequency processing problem. Then I created fourth flight lgav to loww. The frequencies for lgav were missing " |00 LGAV |W0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |123.80| " and also freq_conversion.dat was created saying "Error processing frequencies for LOWW". So, basically it turns out there are 2 problems. In all 4 flights I had the error "Error processing frequencies for xxxx" in freq_conversion.dat and secondly, the frequencies for LGAV are missing. I have send all 4 flights per email with the corresponding files and log. Hope you can sort this out. Thank you! |

| Hi, I notice you're running with the Game Commander option turned 'ON'. Could you please run a test with this option turned off and then select a pilot's voice. This will not address the frequency issues you're experiencing but I'm more concerned with the intermittent NET error you're getting. Thanks |

| Hello! Yes, that is correct, I use MCE and talk the commands to pfe. In the meantime I have reinstalled pfe clean. I have now set a pilots voice and selected "game commander" in pf2000 to off. Other than this, did not find game commander setting in pfe. Flew the same flight loww-omdb again and sent per email the requested files. The freq_conversion.dat is still there with error for loww. Also the NET error in the debug log. Regards, rvm33 |

| Made another flight today, tncm-tvsc and this time the frequencies were converted correctly in the freq_conversion.dat. 2 hours before, on the same flight there was error in the file. So it seems that this issue is sporadic. This log is also available if needed. Hope it helps. |

| Well 'something' is occurring on your system... a security type program? PFE code simply doesn't self-modify whilst you're not looking. |

| I double checked the nod32 settings. FSX and its addons are excluded from real time file system protection. PFE was reinstalled today correctly. UAC is off and system is win7 64x. Regional settings are to uk english. Machine was configured according to Nick's fsx tuning, some of the processes have been stopped. Fsx runs smooth with a ton of airports, asn weather, rex textures, pmdg planes, ut2 traffic, stb, ezca, mce and of course pfe. This PC is reserved for fsx, there are no other aplications runing on it except what fsx needs around. This file freq_conversion.dat is updated each time you load an adv. At every single flightplan loaded just now it threw the error, yet some hours ago 1 flightplan was ok. So yes, something is modifying... What would influence the conversion? Is there a way to log it? |
