| Hi Dave, i now have another problem. A couple of days ago the sim crashed and restarted caused by a faulting DLL for the Airbus X and then there was an error message something like can not locate hot keys (sorry, can't remember exactly what it said). I have uninstalled and, reinstalled twice but same problem, hot keys don't work and no taxi instructions. I presume that hot key configurations would be stored in an INI file, and removing all PFE folders would fix that but it doesn't. Any suggestions? |

| Well, if the hotkeys aren't working PFE must be working and connecting to FS otherwise you wouldn't know if the hotkeys were active. So, please send me ALL the logs in your PFE/logs folder (preferably zipped) |

| Thanks for your reply Dave. It was connecting to flight sim but now now it just says "PFE initializing". I am wondering if something is going wrong with the install as it was working before and now isn't. I have removed PFE again, is there a file left anywhere, APP data or something like that? also, would it have anything to do with FSUIPC? I will send you what i have from the logs. Thanks again. |

| Oh heck i just realized, i don't have any logs it all went with the uninstall. I will try to reinstall and see what happens. |

| When you uninstalled,did you completely remove the defunct PFE folder and all of it's contents? |

| Yes, cleared deleted the PFE folder and all of it's contents. I have since done a windows reinstall as this is strange, it was working fine before and then it would not so i guess that something went wrong somewhere in .net frame work or something like that, and to trouble shoot it would take too much time. Thanks for your help, will reinstall everything this week. |

| Maybe a good thing having to re-install windows,sounds like Aerosofts Airbus X has knocked something out of your system and this could be very time consuming trying to locate the issue. |
