| I reinstalled and old version of FDC and updated it to 3.14. I'm running FS9 under Windows 7 and FDC is not installed in any of the default program folders. I've set up profiles and checklists for a bunch of planes and for the most part everything is working OK. I'm using only checklists and VCP options...no cabin announcements, ambience, or other stuff. Checklists are in manual mode with no interaction. The one consistent problem I'm having is that ctrl-spacebar does not skip to the next checklist phase. None of my checklists use the Prestart or Before Pushback phases, yet I can't skip them and have to spacebar through the initial call and "checklist completed" even though they are empty. I checked the hotkey assignments and ctrl-spacebar is assigned correctly. I'm also running PFE, but ctrl-spacebar is not assigned to anything with that. Am I doing something wrong or does ctrl-spacebar not work in manual checklist mode? It would be nice if FDC could detect an empty checklist phase and just skip it automatically. | Could try this,have 1 item in your preflight checklist,say Battery and see how that goes. |

| OK, I've been trying to deal with the lack of response with patience and a sense of humor. It's been two weeks since I posted my question. Dave Leesly was at least kind enough to make a suggestion, which didn't solve the problem. I see lots of answers have been answered recently on the PFE section, meanwhile it's as quiet as a graveyard here. If you don't have the time or inclination to answer questions about FDC, please just say so and I'll not waste any more of my time. |

| Ctrl-Spacebar does NOT skip to the next checklist phase when in manual mode. Sorry for the delay in replying.  |
