| After installing PFE version 2.15 if you get the following error when selecting the 'Select New ADV' option:- Runtime Error 52 - Bad File Name or Number Please go to your main PFE folder and DELETE the PF_Emulator.INI file. If you can't see this file the chances are you have your Windows Explorer options set to 'Hide extensions for known types', in which case it will be displayed simply as PF_Emulator but the file 'Type' will be 'Configuration Settings'. That is the file to delete and NOT the PF_Emulator 'Application' type file If in doubt please rename the file rather than deleting it, or move it to another folder. Once you start PFE, following the delete of the INI file, please select Options #1 from the main menu. From the next display please set the Debug Level to anything other than ZERO. I would suggest setting it to '5' unless advised otherwise by support. |
