Post subject:  I can not use flight plan converted

Hello,

I always use PFE in this way:
first I create a flight plan with FS Commander, FSX/FS9 build in flightplaner or use an online flight planner.
After that, I open the icon proflight emulator and press convert FS FP to PF2000,
And then I chose the flight plan I want to convert. It generates a file that its name starts with PFE.
However, when I am on FSX/FS9 and choose the converted proflight plan as flightplan (the one that begins with PFE), nothing happens because the departure/arrive airport does not change to the flight plan I chose. Looks like FS9/FSX does not recognize the PFE flight plan.
Of course I can use the original flightplan but looks like it gives problems like PFE thought that I am off the course.
Thank you.

The PFE_*.pln file is intended for Pro Flight 2000, not for FS9/FSX!

You can use "Adjust FS FP for PF2000" in PFE and select the select pf2000*.gps file to convert this file back into a flight plan usable by FS9/FSX.

Sorry ,English is not my first language, would you care to explain again?
The problem is that when I choose adjust FS FP to PF2000 it opens a window
of several *.gps files. But I can not save any flight plan file in this window.
What does this *.gps files do? Thank you.

I try to use an example flight from EDDG to EDDL in FSX:
  1. Create an FSX flight plan, e.g.:
    Documents/Flight Simulator X Files/Munster-Osnabruck (EDDG) to Dusseldorf (EDDL).pln
  2. In PFE use "Convert FS FP to PF2000", this creates
    PFE/FS2000/Pilots/PFE_Munster-Osnabruck (EDDG) to Dusseldorf (EDDL).pln
  3. Start ProFlight 2000 -> Select FLT (PFE_*.pln)
  4. Compile, Adventure File Name will be "PF2000 - EDDG to EDDL".
Make sure "Write Flight Plan to FS2000 'GPS' Format is on [x]
OK to compile, OK and EXIT to close Pro Flight 2000
Now the following files are created:
    PFE/FS2000/Pilots/PF2000 - EDDG to EDDL.pln
PFE/FS2000/Adv/pf2000 - eddg to eddl.gps (and .adv and .brf)
  5. Now you can click on "Adjust FS FP for PF2000".
In the file selection window select "pf2000 - eddg to eddl.gps"
  6. Documents/Flight Simulator X Files/PFE_Munster-Osnabruck (EDDG) to Dusseldorf (EDDL).pln
has been saved, PFE now asks if you want to delete the original .pln file.
(I suggest clicking "No" to keep it)
The original flight plan in my example contains the following waypoints:
EDDG HMM XAMOD EDDL

The .gps file contains just the three lines EDDG, XAMOD and EDDL.
HMM was removed by Pro Flight 2000, because it is too near to EDDG.

PFE uses the .gps file to know that it has to remove HMM, too, to give you a flight plan that is identical to what Pro Flight 2000 uses.
