Hi.

Just allowed PFE to autoupdate to 2.15.0.

When I start PFE now though, it starts up as normal, but then automatically closes down after about 1 minute? If I have ProFlight 2000 open at the same time, that keeps running though! But PFE itself shuts down!

This only happens with my win 8 installation. I did the same autoupdate to 2.15.0 on my win 7 installation, and that works fine!

I had to do a system restore in win 8, and PFE now works fine (version 2.14.0)!

My guess is you updated your win 8 system first, just before I updated the problem in 2.15. If you update it now things should be okay

I did not do any win 8.1 updates!

From what I assume, you have fixed the problem though, but I would like to know, before I mess it all up again, is the update worth it? What changes have been made?

From what I saw in Win 7, nothing at all has changed!

Please see the version history doc in your PFE/help folder. As to "is the update worth it", version 2.15 is now the ONLY supported version.
