Hello support forums & other users ![]() After doubting a lto, I decided to start using PFE instead od RC4, because I'm dutch and I fly mostly in Europe, and PFE handles that better. At least, so I thought, but I can't seem it to get working. Everything is set up (as far as I'm concerned) correctly, till the point that I start using it in FSX, on my w8.1 pc. PFe shows it is connected, however, pressing 0 in FSX does nothing. I also have still no idea whether I should tune my radio or not? Could someone help me? vkr victor |

You need to tune your radio to clearance frequency before pressing 0 |

When you compile a plan in PF2000 the voice tells you what the clearance freq will be. When you are in your a/c and press "0" if you have the wrong frequency a pop up window will tell you the correct frequency. if you run the application PFE_display.exe before you try and contact clearance, that will also tell you the correct frequency to use. Just use the correct frequency. You should turn off the sound for the default ATC. |

Are you using "closed caption" mode? set in the options #1 page. Of course your problems may well be related to using Windows 8. From everything I read on various forums it does not work well with many sim addons. |
