false positives : Make sure you stop all other programs when installing PFE/FDC, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs you might have. UPDATE : and do not install in C:\Program Files |

Also tell AVG not to touch PFE's folder and files in settings, may say something like "exclude Files and Folders",just point to PFE and it should leave all files relating to PFE alone, otherwise it will delete TGS.exe again and again. As Patrick and i have said, don't install into C:\Program Files directory otherwise you will continue to have issues.. |

Hi Patrick and Dave, Actually, as a co-developer, I am merely relaying things I see when installing PFE as a "typical" user might routinely do. For this testing phase, I have SHARED with Everyone and set the SECURITY setting for Everyone to Full Control on the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Aerosoft\ Hence, I have no issues relating to Windows protection on that folder. I have also since added the exclusion to AVG. I simply wanted to bring this to your attention, since it can be perceived as UNNERVING to a novice user if they happen to install PFE in the default folder and that NASTY message pops-up! "Just sayin..." Regards, Robert |
