Post subject:  What is the right sequence ?

Hi guys,

I am using FSX, Fscommander 9.3 (for flight planning) and active sky 2012.

What is the right sequence to start up a flight? I think I might be doing something wrong, cause sometimes I get some silly bugs during the flights.

Thanks

Start FSX and any other things like FS Realtime etc, choose your flight...then start PFE,select the flight that you are using, then connect and enjoy..

What bugs are you encountering?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply

I occasionally encounter two problems. First one is to do with the start of the star which I cant make it work in a regular basis, sometimes works and other times don't and when it works the PFE tells to start the star a couple of miles before the waypoint selected. The second problem is when I pass the last waypoint in my flight plan, PFE sometimes takes ages and even forget to contact me to say which runaway is available, and it happens especially when I am flying a star approach that was pre authorized by PFE.

Thanks for the attention

Fernando

Does it matter whether PFE or FDC are connected (to FS9) first?

That's the way i have always done it...and never had any issues ;)..but it is always down to the user in which order they start things.

This happens if you modify Altitudes and STAR together. There is a solution for this. After, you modify Altitudes and STAR and click save, go back again to the Altitude and STAR menu and click save again.
