Post subject:  A very stange and frustrating problem with certain airports

Hola everybody-I have a wierd and annoying problem when trying to launch PFE in Fsx. my system is 64 bit windows 7 home premium. I can start PFE and get the window that connects to clearance delivery and so on ONLY AT CERTAIN AIRPORTS! I can get it at Aerosofts Frankfurt EDDF but not Budapest and most frustratingly Aerosoft Mega Airport London/Heathrow EGLL. This is so annoying because this is my favorite airport and defintitely want the "PFE experience" here! As i was saying, at frankfurt i load up the airbus-x extnd, get it up and running then alt/enter and pause fsx then start pfe. then i load the adv file which has been compiled normally in pfe 2000 then hit connect to fs. then i go back to fsx and resume and i get the pfe/fsuipc window. when i do the same exact thing at aerosoft heathrow, nothing. no window no error message saying anything is wrong just the game in the exact way i left it. i have rebuilt the pfe scenery database countless times, each one with success. its stange because all of these mega airports are in the same folder. i have no idea what causing this and dont know what to do. has this happened to anyone else? i have thoroughly searched the forums here buy have come up with diddly-squat. Any ideas, questions or comments would be appreciated.

Try the steps suggested in the "How to correct a suspected bad installation" sticky thread here. I had the same problem you described at first, and I think that's what fixed it.
