| Hi everybody, I just installed fdc2011 (with Windows 8), UAC is off and after that, I get two erros: - error 58: file already exist in "checknifile" routine - error 6: overflow in "updateblackbox" routine 0 Is anybody can help me ? many thanks |

| Hi, I installed 737 in command and my traffic 2013 Fdc is installed on c: and I choose the "automatic" installation proposes at the beginning. Thanks |

| Please download and instal the latest cumulative updates package from our support forum, when installing please ensure you stop ALL other programs, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs you might have. If you're running Windows Vista or later do NOT instal into the default "c:/program files" folder, because Windows regards that as a protected area and will prevent certain files being written and/or updated. I appreciate the installer defaults to that location but the publisher wrote the instal script long before Vista hit the shelves. Hope that helps Sent from my Dumbphone |

| I did all and I could open FDC. Many thanks for your help. Only one thing with the latest cumulative updates, at the end of the installation, one message indicates not finding MSVCR71. I test and come bak |

| Hi did you manage to fix the problem? I've just bought FDC 2011 and i'm using windows 7 fs 2004 and got exacltly the same 2 error messages i used the direct download and got the 2 prompts, did the accumulative updates cure the problem? I stored my FDC in my Microsoft Games FS9 folder, did you download the latest FSUIPS did you use the free download or have to buy it from siMarket? I thought the FDC was going to be quite a straight forward set-up but seems not Many Thanks Richard (nagoya Japan) |

| Where have you installed FS2004? If you want to,you can try and re-install fdc into say "C" drive...turn off your AV and firewall,you do not need to be connected to the internet,providing you have the source file at hand(FDC) Once installed update to latest version and follow all messages on screen. I use windows 7-64 with no problems. If you mean FSUIPC it can be un-registered,so it can be the free download. Please run a registry cleaner/checker if you decide to uninstall and try again and delete any folders that are left behind (FDC) |

| Hi Dave Thank You for the kind reply, I tried the accumulative update then no longer got the 2 error messages and could open the FDC, may I ask which FSUIPS file you used, I looked at the link on the forum but there were so many choices and the FS2004 download was payware from siMarket, could you point me towards the latest unregistered freeware version, which you say is okay. Many thanks again David ? Incidentally, how is FDC on your flights it seems a great package, i'll be using mine with a PMDG B747-400 Queen of the Skies hopefully. Best Wishes Richard |

| http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Just look for the FSUIPC for your sim 3.999z4 for FS2004 or 4.90 for FSX it's clearly marked,hope this helps. It works very well for most aircraft,some of the complex ones like PMDG MD11 or 747-400X (FSX version) somethings wont work...that's not FDC's fault it's just down to the coding of the aircraft i'm afraid. I have done a profile for PMDG's 747-400 "Queen of the skies" which works very well if i may say so...  |
