From PFE_v2.12.pdf:
Quote:
Prior to compiling your flight plan, be sure you have set the "Contact Center Altitude".
Where is this setting? How to set it?

Thanks,
Sabre.

What would be the good values for the following departures:

1. EGLL Eastbound
2. EGKK Eastbound
3. EGLC Eastbound
4. EHAM Westbound
5. EDDF Eeastbound

Thanks,
Sabre.

PS: I understand I don't need to change the default FLIGHT LEVEL ALTITUDE setting in PF2000? As this value is superseded by the corresponding value in PFE?

I generally set the CENTRE altitude to 14,000 and dont change it. Once you have it set it once it will retain that setting untill you change it again. The only time I might change it is if I am flying into a very high airport, and I will put the centre altitude higher.

FLIGHT LEVEL ALTITUDE. I usually change this in PF2000 to my actual FL I intend to use, although as you correctly say, you can edit this later in the PFE interface.
