Dave L...My TGS was working about 95% of the time, once in a while giving me bad directions, but usable. It has now quit working and I've tried all the usual things to get it going again, but to no avail. The debug log shows activation, but the TGS debug remains the same as the last time it worked. I'm afraid I've tried everything except the "right" thing and now I'm not sure where I stand with it. The TGS gauge in my gauge folder is 1.0.0.1, but my TGS Dep shows version 2.0.36. Where can I get the updated version (if that's the problem). Everything else in PFE is working great. Dave M...I even tried the displayer and it starts then says "TGS not active". Any ideas?

Hi,
you can try this,it's a crude method but gives you directions but no countdown markers/numbers.
Replace the tgs.gau with the tester gauge that ships with PFE and re-name it tgs, when i tried it,the gauge lights up and as the green pointer putting you in the general direction of your runway.

I take it you have re-loaded your aircraft that it fails to load in and also try position it at 000 , 000 co-ordinates...which puts the gauge in the top left hand corner of your screen.

You could also re-run the accumulative updater again, with regards to the displayer you have to start PFE and then the TGS displayer is activated and is configured as per instructions in FAQ's

I tried manually switching the TGS gauges and got the green arrow, but it really didn't come close to pointing to where I had to go. It's kind of funny, tower "says" the taxiways to be used and they are right, but the TGS just doesn't activate. Also, Dave M's taxi displayer doesn't activate as it says TGS is inactive. Upon landing, ground directs me to the correct gate using the correct taxiways, but again...no TGS. Oh well...
