Dave
It happens to flight plans ( *.PLN) stored in my ..............docs\Flight Simulator X Files, which includes quite a few which I have made from the FSX flight planner.
Am I making sense?

I seem to remember a long time ago some users had problems with fsuipc not installing correctly. So you have the fsuipc option available on the fs menu bar?

Dave
FSUIPC does not appear on the FSX menu bar.
I'm not sure what FSUIPC is??

Well you said you had version 4.8 installed. Do you have it or not?

I found a pdf in my fs showing version no. However, since then I have read the FSUIPC manual and loaded fsuipc and now have it in fsx menu. Also PFE now connects to FS. This is down to your prompt about the menu, so thank you.
(Still not really sure about FSUIPC except that some progs appear to need it).
Thanks for your swift replies.
