hi is there a way to make pfe vector you into the final approach further away from the airport . i am having trouble lining up as to close and would like more time . in pro flight 2000 there is an option to do this just would like to now if this works . fsx standard atc mostly vectors you in at around 20 nm . pfe is closer |

Yes you can change those options in the pf2000.cfg file but be warned, we have not tested such scenarios Sent from my Dumbphone |

thanks for the reply . so am i right in thinking that in the proflight 2000 application if you click on setting ,there is a section called final approach settings and if you change them it will change the vectoring . if this is not the case is there a cfg file to edit and where? |

Yes there's a cfg file in your pf2000 folder. I actually wrote a utility back in 2000 to assist in making such changes, which is probably still available at Avsim. Just search for my name. Sent from my Dumbphone |

sorry wrong file, must be : "pf2ktwk.zip" but I cannot see anything to change the final approach setting |

Just changed it from Proflight's options.I changed it to 11nm and have not had a problem with it. |
