I have a lot of information created in the SID's STAR's panel especially regarding rwys in use for take off landing etc.

When I do a PFE update I am asked " Do you want to save any previously entered SID/STAR or Missed Approach
data and automatically apply it to the new database? [Y/N]"

I always say yes. 50% of the time it saves it and 50% of the time it doesn't meaning that I have to manually
re enter everything. Is there a way of backing up the data entered into PFE via the SID STAR panel? So that I can copy it back into PFE

I'll check this out but no, there's no way for you to save the data prior to an update
