| I have been able to get PFE running in Win 7 RC, but have been stopped getting FDC to do the same, by the following message: ERROR - 2417024894 - AUTOMATION ERROR The system cannot find the file specified. In 'SetupDirectSound' Routine Clicking OK causes FDC to crash...Does anyone know how I might overcome this result? Many thanks in advance... lee |

| Please try to reinstall FDC and ensure you stop all other applications when doing so, in particular any security related products |

| FDC is back online!...Good advice, as always, Dave. I uninstalled and them reinstalled FDC (with my security system shut-down), and that did the trick. I have flown several trips since, and both FDC and PFE are flawlessly delivering their usual additional realism. What a valuable addition to FS9... Thanks again for your advice, Dave... lee |
