My install failed with the same 'MSWINSCK.OCX' Error as many others have experienced. I tried registering the file and it tells me that it cannot register it because it doesn't know if the file is compatible with windows? I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the PFE program and the accumulative update as well, the accumulative update fails with a generic "install failed" error message and does not give me a reason it fails. I have it on a separate drive and it is in it's own file folder away from Program Files. I also have my windows firewall and all my antivirus software turned off. Please help me figure this frustration out?

I take it you are running Windows 7?

Okay,you need to do the following...

Uninstall everything using control panel,run registry checker and remove any folders that PFE leave behind,usually the one being PFE..

Reinstall and once it's done you may want to re-boot your system as sometimes it doesn't always register some files...then reinstall fully and let us know how you get on..

I will try this when I get some time and then I will let you know if it works or not. Thanks for the reply.
