Is there somewhere where I can read about the difference between these various options?

What options?

Do you mean....

Prompt for Push and Start at 'Connect'
Always use Push and Start
Always use Start only
Push and Start feature off

Which one(s) are not clear?

Yes, those options.

I can read the words, but I'm unclear what exactly they refer to - the only mention is in that particular help file /manual entry quoted. In other words, what is the 'feature' referred to? Obviously something to do with pushback and startup, but apart from that I'm none the wiser.

If you are at an airport with a clearance delivery ATC frequency then ATC will ask you to obtain clearance for Startup and pushback. The options you list are so you can choose whether you want that or nor not or how you want the option to work. Simple!
