Hi Dave,

Could you add a "Vector altitude" window under the STAR's Active section?

Basically if you had STAR's Active selected and an altitude set in the window PFE would begin to vector you to final once you descend below that altitude.

Lastly i'm having a slight issue with requesting higher or lower altitudes. Everytime i hold H or L and then select 2, 3,4 etc. PFE will first give me instructions for the actual keypress and then issue me a higher or lower altitude! :?

Not sure this is a good idea...I don't think you want to trigger vectors using altitude..A waypoint is more correct..

The problem with STAR's is that they often finish close to the airport aka London Heathrow OCK. In this case one flies to OCK either directly or in the hold leaving the facility at FL70 descending to 2,500ft and vectored to the ILS localiser. It would be much simpler if PFE "did" allow waypoints to be closer thus providing a much better traffic pattern.
