Post subject:  PFE .pln files will not work with Electronic Flight Bag

Once the plan is compiled, saved, and loaded as per the tutorial, I try to load it into EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) but it not recognized as a proper FSX .pln.
Is there something I am doing wrong? The same problem occurs with Plan-G. I just started using Pro Flight Emulator and really like it but I really need EFB for airport diagrams, approach info, etc.
Is this a bug or have I set up something incorrectly?
Any Help appreciated

No it's not a bug. Once converted pfe plans are fs2000 format. Try using the original, pre-formatted plan

But PFE requires the formatted (compiled) flight plan doesn't it?
the problem seems to be that all three of these programs need the flight plan loaded into FSX. At present I am loading the original plan int EFB and Active Sky 2012 but all that does is provide static weather and route information. Neither can connect to FSX.
I really like PFE. It has a lot of nice features that Radar Contact is missing. Hopefully there is some way that all three can work together.

Yes of course PFE needs the PFE flight plan. I was talking about your other addon (EFB?). If that program cannot read the PFE plan then load in the original. If you're using EFB (and I don't know the program) for airport diagrams then it doesn't matter which plan you use provided you have the correct start/end airports loaded.
