Once the plan is compiled, saved, and loaded as per the tutorial, I try to load it into EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) but it not recognized as a proper FSX .pln. Is there something I am doing wrong? The same problem occurs with Plan-G. I just started using Pro Flight Emulator and really like it but I really need EFB for airport diagrams, approach info, etc. Is this a bug or have I set up something incorrectly? Any Help appreciated N Howard |

No it's not a bug. Once converted pfe plans are fs2000 format. Try using the original, pre-formatted plan Sent from my dumbphone |

But PFE requires the formatted (compiled) flight plan doesn't it? the problem seems to be that all three of these programs need the flight plan loaded into FSX. At present I am loading the original plan int EFB and Active Sky 2012 but all that does is provide static weather and route information. Neither can connect to FSX. I really like PFE. It has a lot of nice features that Radar Contact is missing. Hopefully there is some way that all three can work together. Regards NHoward |

Yes of course PFE needs the PFE flight plan. I was talking about your other addon (EFB?). If that program cannot read the PFE plan then load in the original. If you're using EFB (and I don't know the program) for airport diagrams then it doesn't matter which plan you use provided you have the correct start/end airports loaded. |
