Post subject:  Re: PTT Hotkey activation status not being saved

After some testing it seems that PF3 saves the selected PTT key that is written to the ini file as long as MCE is NOT RUNNING.

If I start MCE after I have configured the PTT in PF3(and it is running connected to FSX) OR if MCE is already running when I configure the PTT in PF3 and load it into FSX, in both cases the PTT selection fails "to stick" in the PF3 ini file.

Could MCE be over writing PF3 ini file or duplicate assignments somewhere between PF3 and MCE?

Apprently MCE only reads .ini files, it doesn't alter them. So I can't see MCE affecting the files within PF3.

Dave, does PF3 have a facility to allow disabling the PTT hotkey? For example originally for FDC integration?

MCE users, do you have the same key assigned in MCE, too? If yes, could you try a different one?

MCE support has just contacted me and confirmed the issue. It will be removed in the next update of MCE.

MCE Version 2.6.8.5 is available through MCE support.

It fixes the problem with the deactivated PF3 PTT hotkey. You can now add "KeepPF3suspendKey=1" to the [ATC] section of the MCE.ini file.

Works!
